A Moment in History: Singapore and the 1911 Revolution

A Moment in History: Singapore and the 1911 Revolution” showcases the creativity of students from the Hwa Chong Institution, and highlighted the historical link between Singapore, China and Dr. Sun Yat Sen prior to the success of the 1911 Revolution. More importantly, the exhibition highlights the Three Prominent Trio, namely Teo Eng Hock, Tan Chor Lam and Lim Nee Soon who were important supporters of Dr Sun Yat Sen and also pioneers who had made immense contribution to the local Chinese community especially in areas of education. Through this exhibition, we hope to highlight how supporters of Dr Sun Yat Sen have actually contributed not only to the revolutionary cause but also in our local Chinese community during the pre-war era.
