Carrels are available for graduate student and academic staff. Loan period varies from library to library. Please note for periodicals in the Closed Stacks, NUS academic staff are allowed one online renewal.

* Loan entitlement vary according to membership level (basic, enhanced or premium) and library. Maximum number of main stacks books for personal member is 6 and corporate member is 10 at C.J.Koh Law Library.

Loan entitlement for Part-time Staff

  1. Part-time staff, e.g. lecturers are given loan privileges similar to those of full-time academic staff.
  2. Part-time tutors are given loan privileges similar to those of graduate students.
  3. Part-time teachers in the NUS Extension may apply to the Loans and Membership Services to use NUS Libraries with the same loan privileges as external personal members.

Materials not for loan outside NUS Libraries

  1. Current journals
  2. Reference materials, including reference books, press clippings, standards, compact discs, theses & academic exercises
  3. Singapore/Malaysia Collection materials
  4. Microforms
  5. Media materials 

Please note that certain library materials and facilities may only be accessed by NUS students and staff.
