Asian Society of International Law (AsianSIL)
Society established to promote research, education and practice of international law by serving as a centre of activities among international law scholars and practitioners in Asia and elsewhere. Website provides useful links to international law resources.

CIL Document Database
Database set up by the Centre for International Law, comprising over 600 ASEAN and 300 international law and policy documents in areas relevant to the Centre's research. Each entry includes a downloadable full text document with a content page, and summary information including instrument status, citations, dispute settlement and entry into force provisions.

CISG Database
Collaborative effort between the Pace Law School Institute of International Commercial Law and Pace Law Library. The database provides a comprehensive global collection of legal materials on the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Good.

Electronic Resource Guide (ERG)
Excellent guide to international law published by the American Society of International Law. It is complemented by the Society's EISIL database.

Resources and tools focusing on international, foreign and comparative law research. Published by the Hauser Global Law School Program, NYU School of Law.

International Law Association
Contains useful publications by its various study groups.

Law by Source: Global
The Legal Information Institute's (Cornell Law School) excellent collection of Internet-accessible sources of constitutions, statutes, judicial opinions and related legal material from around the globe. Cornell University Law Library has also published an annotated Foreign and International Law Guide.

Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC)
Homepage of the APEC Secretariat. Information about the organisation and free access to selected APEC publications, including documents and reports.

Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)
Maintained by the ASEAN Secretariat. Useful information at this site includes the ASEAN Charter and various other legal instruments.

Portal of the European Union. Information on policies administered by the EU as well as access to websites of EU institutions including the

The legal texts and various other publications of EFTA are made available by the Secretariat.

EUR-Lex is the portal to European Union Law. This system contains the Official Journal of the European Union as well as EU treaties, legislation and case law.

North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO)
Access to official NATO texts, including the basic texts of the Alliance and NATO standardisation agreements.

Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)
Documents including working papers, guidelines and best practices for areas under the OECD's purview are available here.

Amnesty InternationaI (AI)
The work of AI is enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. AI produces reports and news releases searchable by country or topic.

Council of Europe
Important information on human rights, in particular the basic texts and judgments of the European Court of Human Rights. Council of Europe treaties are also available here.

International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID)
ICSID documents and cases.

International Chamber of Commerce (ICC)
Contains ICC policy statements, codes, rules and model contracts as well as information on ICC arbitration. The ICC Digital Library is a subscription service provided by the ICC International Court of Arbitration, but it does contain a selection of open access resources.

International Court of Justice (ICJ)
The official webiste of the ICJ contains full texts of contentious cases and advisory proceedings (1947-), as well as basic documents governing the administration of the Court. Summaries of Judgments, Advisory Opinions and Orders of the ICJ are also made available by the Codification Division, Office of Legal Affairs, United Nations.

International Criminal Court (ICC)
Transcripts and court records of recent cases before the ICC. For in-depth information on the court, particularly on its establishment, see the website of the Coalition for the International Criminal Court .

International Labour Organization (ILO)
Full texts of international labour standards and ILO official reports.

International Law Commission (ILC)
Reports of the ILC, and conventions relating to the work of the Commission.

Audiovisual Library of International Law: Historic Archives
Contains an introduction on a particular legal instrument, information on its procedural history and related documents (including travaux préparatoires), as well as the text and status of the instrument.

Avalon Project: Documents in Law, History and Diplomacy
Digital library of documents dating as far back as 4000 BCE. Developed and maintained by the Lillian Goldman Law Library, Yale Law School.

CIL Document Database
Database administered by the Centre for International Law (National University of Singapore) containing over 600 ASEAN and 300 international law and policy documents in areas relevant to CIL’s research.

CMI Database
Database of judicial decisions on international maritime conventions. Contains case summaries, with links to full texts where available. Project undertaken and hosted by the Centre for Maritime Law (National University of Singapore) in collaboration with the Comité Maritime International.

Collected Travaux Préparatoires
The Lillian Goldman Law Library (Yale Law School) has collected Travaux Préparatoires for international treaties that are available online or listed in its library catalogue.

Core International Human Rights Instruments
Texts, ratifications and reservations of the 10 core treaties. Published by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.

Council of Europe: Treaty Office
Full texts of all conventions and agreements in the European Treaty Series (ETS) and Council of Europe Treaty Series (CETS). Published by the Council of Europe.

Searchable database of multilateral environmental treaties. Jointly operated by the FAO, IUCN and UNEP.

This award-winning database enables searching of provisions of peace agreements. It provides access to compare and collate language on key issues across 75,000+ provisions of around 1,000 peace agreements.

Official Document System of the United Nations
The ODS is an online database of UN documents that has full-text, born-digital UN documents published from 1993 onward, including documents of the Security Council, the General Assembly, the Economic and Social Council and their subsidiaries, as well as administrative issuances and other documents. It also includes scanned documents published between 1946 and 1993, including all resolutions of the principal organs, all documents of the Security Council and the General Assembly Official Records.

Space Law Treaties and Principles
UNOOSA publishes full texts of the space treaties and principles as well as selected travaux preparatoires

UNIDROIT Conventions
Conventions drawn up by the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT) and adopted at diplomatic conferences convened by member States of UNIDROIT. Click on "Instruments" on the left panel to activate the drop down menu for the full list of treaties.

United Nations Treaty Collection
Access to the United Nations Treaty Series and Multilateral Treaties Deposited with the Secretary-General. Also includes publications like the Treaty Handbook and Final Clauses of Multilateral Treaties Handbook.
